USPS has just raised their rates again and another one coming in a few months.. Priority shipping is high high now...

Thanks for posting this link Evan. I remember hearing this was coming. I'll be curious to see if it REALLY goes back down on 12/27/21...or if it will remain at those rates due to some "unforeseen" circumstances that will somehow come out during the time it's in effect.  |

I recently shipped a couple small pieces of jewelry Priority Mail.
Something this size/weight cost about $4.00 to mail prior to 10-1.
Had charged the customer $5.00 for shipping, based on cost of postage and the box.
I ended up being charged a little over $6.00 for shipping.
it might not seem like much, but the two pieces of jewelry came to $11.00 cost. I was taking a loss on them to begin with, so now my loss is even bigger.

Label printers are expensive, but durable. Mine saved me 100s of dollars in the long run. Not to mention time at the PO. |
