SFRB Cabbing/Slabbing Mix. Collected prior to the construction of an Interstate Highway exchange in Wausau, Wisconsin. My friend was there with her parents collecting them with the gem/mineral society they were members of. All she remembered is that they were West, Northwest of Fleet Farm, across what was then a 2 lane road. Later a full blown Interstate was constructed with on/off ramps at the location. Photos could not capture all of the flash in these. Auction begins now and ends at 6:00 CDT PM on Thursday, October 21. Opening bid is $25.00, which includes USPS SFRB Priority Mail to Continental USA. I have some in the tumbler now and they are disclosing more and more flash. Here is the tumbling thread if you are interested in seeing what is below the surface. forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/96814/wi-moonstone?page=1&scrollTo=1186107Rocks with both indoor and outdoor photos. All dry. I was able to fit 3 more rocks in the box after taking the outdoor photos. Thanks for looking and bidding.

Oh, my friend found these in a metal pail with some water in it in her Mom's basement. There are some rust stains on the surface, which makes them look darker than normal.

Thank you to those who bid. I rearranged the rocks in box and was able to add a couple more. Photo taken indoors under LED light. Total weight of 3 lbs., .8 ozs. Auction ends tomorrow (Thursday) at 6:00 PM, CDT. There is still room in the box for some tumbling sized pieces. These could also be shaped on the wheels or with Dremel. If the winner wants, I can include those.

Spoke with my friend who gave me this. It was collected in the 1970's. She said it was all over the ground. They did not need to dig. She also remembered that this was her first time getting sunburnt ears. She was wearing a baseball cap.
