OMG! That is so cool! Great shape! Way to raise the heart bar. The stone is awesome, too. True work of art.

C'mon JV! This is beyond sick! (The "good" kind of sick! LOL) Just remember...you're setting your own bar higher and higher each time you make something like this! Gorgeous piece of Brazilian to boot!

It seems to have mirror symmetry and fall colors… just sayin’ Beyond that, it’s an amazing piece. Well done LOL I guess I was practicing! Thanks, it does fit into the 3:4 ratio that I talked Jason into at some point. “Practicing…” he says. Sheesh.

C'mon JV! This is beyond sick! (The "good" kind of sick! LOL) Just remember...you're setting your own bar higher and higher each time you make something like this! Gorgeous piece of Brazilian to boot! Thanks! Hopefully I can keep raising the bar. It’s a challenge for me to practice without going all in, a rock really has to be calling for me to make something impressive. It’s a matter of having material, a vision, and determination all at once. That would then be achieving the lapidary "trifecta"! LOL It seems to have mirror symmetry and fall colors… just sayin’ Beyond that, it’s an amazing piece. Well done Yep...that was my first thought! It seems to have mirror symmetry and fall colors… just sayin’ Beyond that, it’s an amazing piece. Well done LOL I guess I was practicing! Thanks, it does fit into the 3:4 ratio that I talked Jason into at some point. Oh no...you've got to do the short fat vampire and the tall skinny vampire! LOL Just teasing. The butterfly shape was absolutely unmistakable. This really would be another killer entry from you for one of the challenges. I know I've said it before...but you really do come up with some amazingly creative pieces of art when it comes to working stones!

Beautiful! With those colors and orbs, it gives off more than a slight impression of a Monarch butterfly. Your experimental cabs never cease to amaze!

Wow amazing! It's hard for me to imagine the size of that but seeing it dwarf the quarter is pretty cool. Great job!
