Here is a Ishi point that I made yesterday. Ishi was the last surviving wild Indian in California. As a child, he watched helplessly as his friends and family were massacred right before his eye's. He was the only survivor by 1911. He soon found himself imprisoned in a Orville jail. Ishi was later rescued and taken to the Museum in Berkley CA. These were the point's he made. If you want to read the whole story about Ishi, go Here: www.mohicanpress.com/mo08019.htmlFront Back Down the barrel Thanks for looking!

James, you are an artist. That point is amazing. I can only imagine the difficulty of working something that small and fragile. How long did it take you? And thanks for sharing your work. It looks like you have sparked a growing interest in knapping among the RTH crowd.

Dude, great! What can I say. Great! Do you also make bows? I am going to try my hand at a Mongolian design if I ever get time. Great knapping.

James, That is one heck of a Nice Point! You are gifted my man. You must have the touch to create something that fragile. Do you change direction flaking to get it notched out near the top? I'll read that story later as well. Keep those points coming. I really enjoy looking at them. Steve

James, that is damn fine work. Do you sell the points you make? And if so, how much for one like that?

That point looks wicked! Remind me not to go to war against you, you're too well armed! Great piece.
