That is a C-17 Globemaster III, United States Airforce. Great plane to fly in. Tons of space to lay out your blanket on the floor and get some good rest. For paratroopeers it is also very spacious. It can take up to "outsize cargo" meaning just about anything in our inventory. It also has really nice 110 VAC outlets for the convenience of the passengers meaning you can plug in your laptop or DVD for your 12 hour flight into the nether-regions. I've flown it many times and jumped out of it HALO and staticline. Great airplane.

Thanks so much for telling us what that plane was. I knew someone would know what it was despite the dark picture. We loved looking on the net for pictures of it. What a cool plane that is. We should be proud of the equipment we have and the troops that are trained to use them in our behalf.

gaetz what a scenery you have! i bet alot of folks in the neighborhood are regularly outside enjoying that view.
after jc told about the plane and i went back and viewed you links i can sure see why that got your attention. it will hold a tank!
