I just ordered 80, 220, 400, 800 and 1200 8x3 sic belts. The last is ao but hopefully these will come before my machine is back. I can't wait to start some cabs at home! I will start it on a sic (220?) green wheel and then move onto the belts. I might order an uncharged belt for some AO if I don't get good results. Just thought I'd share!

Thanks! I can't wait to have it going! I have an area set up for it already. I also have a ton of preforms at least cut, but some are cut and ground.

I have thought about getting an 8x3 expanding drum and some SiC belts for trying to face polish some larger rocks.

Will do! I'm thinking about polishing a rose quartz slab and maybe some thunder eggs.
