Howdy folks, Well, I'm one happy camper today. The post office found my third box from my re-order of more Flint Ridge cabbing material from Gary Hardy. Last time the shipment was filled with great flint with lots of fantastic reds and pinks but this time I asked Gary to maybe pick out some pieces in the darker end of the spectrum with some of the nice bands and whorls. Boy, he made me up a real good batch with just what I wanted. Here's just a couple of pics of some of my new favorites. No sun and some glare from the wetting but here ya go. Thanks for looking....Mel

Kim: The pictured pieces are all in the 4-7 pound range. I told him my saw size and he did a real good job of making sure the chunks were pretty much within my cutting range and, as I said, he went overboard when he handpicked out the pieces. The actual variety of colors and patterns is fantastic. Some even looks fossiliferous as if it is a silica replacemant of crinoid filled limestone.
