Finished a few others last weekend as well. Dendritic opalite in advance for the winter/snow-themed contest. Owyhee and fortification agate (a slabette from Brother Bill, I think). Gem Silica, Rhodonite & black stuff in quartz and Ocean Jasper.

I purchased it in the '90's from Goodnow, but I don't think they called it gem silica then. Found a couple chunks at the bottom of a box.

I have no idea. I've had the slab for 40+ years, or at least 30. No clue where I got it.
