When a crystal person and a cabber get together

I had the fortunate experience to hang out with my husband's cousin on Halloween. We met at a funeral before Covid and had planned to get together sooner, but life and Covid happened. When I arrived, I presented some nice cabs and some crystals I had brought as gifts. She proceeded to give me the tour of her collection- ALL over the house. She had some beautiful obelisks. I joked that I would cut them up! LOL! But, seriously, her collection is impressive. I was able to ID a few for her and learned that a lot of material names that we used were different from the ones she (and crystal enthusiasts) used. We also bragged about our sniping ability. She won a very large crystal ball of extremely flashy labradorite for 22.00! Good deal! She gave my SIL and I some nice stone eggs. I was a little disappointed that she didn't go into the healing properties of things, but I think she was being polite. We had a rockin' time- from different perspectives. Her collection is enviable.
