I’m going to attempt to tumble small opals and was wondering if there is a safe grit/days amount to go by to avoid destroying them. They are the amazon kind that are small and have rough material spotted around the surface. Im not trying to round them off, I just want to remove the rough edges before burnishing and clear coat spray. This will be my 4th batch on my soon to be replaced nat geo tumbler. Just discovered burnishing and clear spray on my last batch. I love that they are no longer ashy
Thanks for any help
Dan

Welcome from Virginia. Can't help with your question, but I'm sure someone will.
