Dang JV! Those are so beautifully executed! They're gorgeous!
Sidenote - That is an AMAZING piece of Blue Lace! I have a couple pieces, but I haven't tried to cab any of it yet.

I figured they better be good enough to warrant the cutting of such a nice display specimen lol! Actually the cut face will look pretty good on the new slightly smaller specimen.

Those are beautiful! Blue lace doesn't get much time in the spotlight but it's a beautiful stone to work.

Whoa, those are technically and artistically impressive. That's to say -- beautiful and I have no idea how you made them.

That's some exacting work. Well done! Thank you! It’s been a challenge to come up with the process without messing up. Really they are a good save and I should have practiced with the drill before going all in lol! I can't tell by the picture, but were you using water to drill?

I can't tell by the picture, but were you using water to drill? Yes, that was just before filling the stainless container. Oh OK, you had me worried there for a minute.
I think you did an outstanding job. Sometimes you just have to jump in feet first. Often times, my best work is the first time. Beginners luck.

I always wonder if blue lace is actually agate because my experience has also been that it is much softer than a typical agate- at least what I've had.
