You'll be fine. I made 8 cabs yesterday, all dopless. Dop sticks are for babies.  SOMEONE probably has a nice diamond system not an ancient arbor with a sic wheel and sic belts😂. They work well but remove lots of material VERY quickly (especially MOHS 2 fingernails.). I am fine, but my day job requires a lot of writing so I'm kind of a baby about hand stuff. |

They work well but remove lots of material VERY quickly (especially MOHS 2 fingernails.). I am fine, but my day job requires a lot of writing so I'm kind of a baby about hand stuff. I was joking. I installed some new textures diamond wheels yesterday and they are super sharp. I drew a little blood today on my thumb and it hurts like hell. I should use dop sticks, but I learned without them, and it's a hard habit to break. Take advantage of your SiC abrasives, and once you get some worn out belts you can cab some of the softer materials that don't play well with diamonds, like obsidian, for example. |

What size wheels fit on your arbor? 8"? Yes. I think the shaft is 3/8 although I have adapters to make other wheels fit. |
