I came across this clay project in a craft book, and couldn't help but think about KD's and Stoner's fish bowls. If you have small enough fish that fit into a Christmas ball, I think it would look pretty neat! Actually, even small polished /tumbled suspended rocks would look neat... or stone beads, or anything! Anyway here's the picture, that made me think of KD's and Stoner's fish bowls

stoner i want to see a little clay rockhound man with a pick trying to crack that ornament to get the rock out. kind of like those little tubes with a cigarette and match that says break in case of emergency.

My Idea I was thinking of was using it like potting soil. I want to get a glass bowl and put the tiny rocks in it and put my little bamboo in there and then fill it the rest of they way with tiny tumbled rocks.
Whata think.

sounds like a fun idea, but I'd be concerned about the weight of the ball.
