The slabbing season is over for me this year :-( Just getting too cold. Here are some pictures of the some of the slabs I finished the season with. All are shown wet. If anyone has ID's for any of the slabs, please let me know! I don't know what this first one is, but I call them my Spooky Slabs. There are ghostly apparitions in almost all the white areas (or at least that is what I see!) IMG_6450 by Shiny Objects, on Flickr These next 2 are what from the rough I thought might be Graveyard Point plume agate, but seeing the slabs I am not so sure. Whatever they are, I like them! IMG_6263 by Shiny Objects, on Flickr IMG_6264 by Shiny Objects, on Flickr This rough had lots of bright turquoise-ish green on the outside. Was hoping for more inside, but there are just a bunch of really thin lines of green. IMG_6442 by Shiny Objects, on Flickr These next 2 are from different parts of the same rough. It is rather dark, but I like the dark spots and lines and the orange-ish dots are nice too. The really dark outside edge is the rind from the original rough rock. Don't think I have ever seen such a thick, and differently colored rind before. Beautiful slabs Herb! I'm sorry the "season" is over for the year. I'm not too sure how many more days I'm going to have...but I just ordered new 10" and 7" blades, so I'm being optimistic! LOL I've seen some Wonderstone with the patterns and colorization of that first one...not saying that's what that is...but maybe. I'd bet a couple bucks on those second pieces being Graveyard Point. Gorgeous plumes on those.

Sorry to hear that. My tumbling was shut down last week. ☹️ Great slabs! I push through the pain and freeze for cabbing still though (it's worth it!).

LOL Although Thanksgiving day is supposed to be in the 50s. I'm sure my girlfriend would be ok with doing all the cooking and entertaining of our guests while I'm out in the garage slabbing, right?

Those are extra fine. Would the GYP be called Regency Rose? Sometimes it's hard to tell.
