agatemaggot my first thought was you must mean the "current status" which is easily erased by just clicking on the "update status" button while the field is empty. I don't see anything there currently so as the others said please elaborate and we'll help you.

In the profile activity tab,
if you hover your mouse over your post,
the Delete option will appear.

But it doesn't delete the actual post.

To delete your post, you need to go to your post,
then click on that gear shaped icon on the right.
That will open another menu with the delete post option.

Ummmmmm... I couldn't find any "Comments" in My Profile, agatemaggot . Can you provide a screenshot? Although I'm not an admin here, I am pretty good at this Forum stuff, so if I can see it, I might be able to figure it out.
