Hi all. Saw an ad in the newspaper last week for some turquiose stones. The guy just moved here from Nevada and was setting up shop(he does beautiful silver-smith work) so he had these bags of stones to sell. So here's what I got turquoise and malachite-$10 mex fire opal-$10 I tried to capture the fire in the pic but it didn't work, but believe me, they have some nice colors in the sunlight. Ed

oh wow stoner those are fantastic! do you have to stabalize them? how do you stabalize a stone?

Ooooooooo wow, you're going to have some pretty stuff there when you finish them. It's all beautiful, can't wait to see what you make with them.

Hey man, I see the fire in the one that's at about 5 o'clock. Wish you could get some better picts, but realize how hard it is to take good rock phots. Opals are absolutely my favorite stone. My mother got beautiful opal ring when I was young and I was always mesmerized by their changing beauty.

Wow, looks like some real fine material there and what a steal on the price! I watch the want ads and garage sales too. One in a blue moon a person can really score some nice material.
