flic.kr/p/2mMAnqo I was looking over marketplace and saw this for sale. I don't have the means, funds, or space for a slab saw but know someone will probably want it. This is in no way endorsed by me and is not being sold by me.

Coincidentally, there also happens to be a 16" rock saw for sale for $500 in Bonney Lake, Washington (east of Tacoma, but west of the Cascades). 16" Saw - $500 - Bonney Lake, WA

When I first joined, there was an app or tool that enabled one to see which members might reside near you. There was a member who was a short mile walk away, but then the capability to see that disappeared. And I couldn't remember who that was.
I thought about picking up the Bonney Lake saw — but only for a brief moment — I haven't got a place to put it. Wishful thinking.

Year and a half ago I would have made the Bonney Lake trip in a heartbeat, looks like a decent saw. Trip is about 1400 miles longer now. The plywood saw in Roy, not so much. I saw the ad on marketplace, sounds like her rock collection was included.

That might make it more worth it.
