I will bet that has seen a few Lakers in it's day. Heck of a deal, the scrap value alone is probable worth the price

The Mt. Hood club had a tumbler fashioned from about 30 inches of about a 4' diameter steel pipe. It held about 600 lbs and lived in a fully sound insulated room inside of the members fully sound insulated workshop building. His closest neighbor was almost 1/4 mile away, which was a good thing. A couple of us managed to change the bearings once with it loaded, had a literal half ton of fun with that one. With all the gear reduction involved in operating a machine like that, the amount of electricity to spin it is a lot less than you might think.

Cleanout and reloading for the next stage would be a real body-building experience!!!

Haha, jasoninsd, I would either have to sleep where I run that thing or turn our spare bedroom into a walk in closet, for Sarah to look the other way on this one. HankRocks , at least they put a drain on the bottom, so you could just fill it with soapy water and spin for the cleanout. Then hire someone else to pull all the rocks out. Have any pictures of that beast, Rockoonz ? Sounds impressive.
