Those are delicious looking pictures! A good friend just sent me a recipe for mushroom soup...this makes me think I really need to get off my tail and get that made!

Hopefully by Christmas I should be finding wild oysters, shrimp of the woods and wild enoki.

OK, and my mushroom logs have been done for several months. I did what was needed to hopefully ensure more delicious fungi appear next year. I also have been experimenting with the dead trees that some great fungi grow on. Harvest the fungi and spread some of them on the tree.

That's the way to do it. My property is a giant mycilial mat. I've introduced Shittake, Hen of the Woods and trying to get chicken of the woods reintroduced.

I love it enough I forked out for a 4'x2' flowhood. When I have the time it's made a massive difference in my grows.
