Man I love cold mountain. Bang up job Jason! Thanks Billy! I do too! And I'm such a glutton for punishment, I'll continue getting it, knowing the "yield" is pretty slim. LOL

Those are amazing! I can't believe how far you have come so quickly. Wow! Thanks Tela! That really means a lot! I'm really going to have to switch gears here pretty soon and get to wrapping a bunch of these...and then I can work on improving that part.

LOL I have one big chunck of rough that I'm itching to get in the saw now! Funny story. I went to buy some rough one day and all of a sudden they were sold out, fast forward and it happened again. Turns out Mr. Larson beat me too them he really does like Cold Mountain

If you get a chance, and if it's not too much trouble, and if you think about it, and if you want to, and of it's not buried, would you be willing to post a pic of it here? (Too much coffee since 3:30! LOL) I don't get to see many "big" slabs of this material. Most of the slabs I cut have been unstable to the point of becoming sever slabettes out of the original...

Holy smokes, Jason! They are all beautiful, but I really like that orange one with the blue spots, too. Well done!
Now you need to expand your shape inventory.

Here's our cold mountain t-egg, jasoninsd Gotta be over 5#, I hope it's solid! Holy crap Nate (and MsAli)! That's a gorgeous egg! You'll hopefully get a great variety of cabs out if that one! Some including that quartz vein and some not! Cool! Thanks for posting this! Holy smokes, Jason! They are all beautiful, but I really like that orange one with the blue spots, too. Well done!
Now you need to expand your shape inventory. Thanks Robin! Problem I have with the shapes, I have SO many preforms already cut for this winter, there's a lot of the same shapes for now. I'll definitely start expanding the shapes...but it might be a few more months. I need different templates! LOL
