Suppose to be 30° and sunny here today, forecast says close to 40° tomorrow. I'll take that in northern Minnesota in mid December!

Good for you! Please show us what you make. I'm going to cut preforms from good slabs later today, and I could use some inspiration. It was almost 60 degrees here in Michigan at 4:00 in the morning. Now temps are falling fast with wind gusts in excess of 60 mph. Crazy weather. |

Good for you! Please show us what you make. I'm going to cut preforms from good slabs later today, and I could use some inspiration. It was almost 60 degrees here in Michigan at 4:00 in the morning. Now temps are falling fast with wind gusts in excess of 60 mph. Crazy weather. I am scraping the bottom of the barrel on preforms. I will be doing some more trimming soon. |

It's like eating the last of the week-old tortilla chips before you open the new bag. As for cutting new preforms with a clean conscience, you wouldn't know what that is like. You must still have 1000+ preforms. |

It's like eating leftovers...you don't always want to do it...but it's the right thing to do! LOL I was trying to work up an analogy like that. It's like eating the last of the week-old tortilla chips before you open the new bag. I always dump the last of the bag into the new one...that way there's twice as many broken chips when I get to the bottom of the new bag! LOLAs for cutting new preforms with a clean conscience, you wouldn't know what that is like. You must still have 1000+ preforms. That hurts man! I have a clean conscience...just a really long queue! LOL |
