We finally have enough slabs I wanted to pass on the generosity that was shown to us in this forum. Out of safety precautions I would ask that you're an established member here, no brand new accounts.
If anyone out there is just getting started and would like a "mystery" slab box to play with let me know. I think I have enough sorted for 2 medium rate boxes. Just PayPal me the shipping fee.
Same for tumbling material. I have a small flat rate I could fill up with various jaspers and agates.
These are great to play with different types of material and figure out what to look for when finding your own and what to purchase in the future etc.

I'm along with Lumber on this one...although I would LOVE to get a box of material from you...because I've seen a lot of the material you have! LOL I've also been on the receiving end of some pretty serious generosity from the members of this forum, so I will be watching this one from the sidelines. Good on you Al! I look forward to seeing who gets what! |

I would love a box. I am a member of a Facebook group called Rockhounding 4 Homebound. We send boxes/bags of rocks to those who cannot get out on their own to collect them.
Many of the recipients are children with disabilities.
Others are people who used to love to go rock hunting, but can no longer do so.
I would divide the box up amongst some members.
Many of the rocks/slabs I was given or purchased from RTH members are being shared with members of the FB group.

(Speaking of my status just changed to "starting to spend too much on rocks" and I can't emphasize the accuracy...) I've got an entire bucket of ends and pieces for tumbling material that we're never going to get to. We're going on quite a few rockhounding adventures this year otherwise I'd try to unload it at a show but that will have to be a 2023 to-do item I think. |

I tried to look up Casa Grande, but only came up with a listing for a Trading Post. I only saw Turquoise for sale on their website... I know I miss on out some good "deals" not being on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter (I suppose)...much to my disappointment sometimes, but it makes my wife happier without her even knowing it! LOL I'm quickly realizing I'm probably in the same boat with the amount of preforms I've cut this summer. I'm not too sure I'll ever want to get through 87 Silver Lace Onyx cabs! LOL - I'm going to try and focus on quality rough, rather than quantity going forward. Operative word in that sentence is "try"! LOL I love hearing you've got some hounding adventures planned...notice I say "adventures"...as that's what I'm used to! LOL - I look forward to seeing and reading about some trip reports. |

Rest assured everything I receive will be sent to members of the Rockhounding 4 Homebound FB Group. Am currently working on 6 boxes that will be sent in January.
