Is there a special viewer needed to view the pics here? Nine out of ten threads I have looked at talked about pictures that were posted, but no pics showed up. I have tried 2 different computers with the same result. I did see a pic in a couple of threads.  |

are you trying to look at older threads rckhndk, or recent stuff. sometimes if my ISP is misbehaving it won't load the photos, it also seems as tho i have a limited amount of online display, but i don't know howw to change it on this computer. are you getting the little red
"x"? sometimes if i right click and the click "show picture" it will come up.

No, you should be able to see them all. Once in a blue moon someone has a problem but not too often. Best thing to do is post in the thread when it happens so we can try to help then.

I think lots of times the older pics have disappeared because the posting person has deleted them from photobucket to keep his album within the free limits allowed at the site.. Deleting them at photobucket deletes them from the thred as well....Mel

A lot of time the pics that were posted in older posts have been removed from the owner's photo bucket (or whichever they use) account so they'd have room for new pictures. In that case all you're going to get is the little broken photo image.

Actually, I have been able to see pics in quite a few of the old posts. I have tried some from today, like botswanas and some from the last few days, but no pics. Oh well! I will just have to go back to loading my 3lb lortone with some Tanzanian chrysoprase I got cheap on eBay. Will try to post some pics.

You might want to check your brower options. Some versions have the option to block some or all photos. Make sure you enable viewing of photos from offsite sources. Like I said, not all browers/versions have that option so it may not apply.
