Those are awesome! Great job on them. I really like all of the colors. Thanks. Been trying to do a large variety as I have been sending cabs off for trade to have some wire wrapped. Send off around 200 recently.

I love the variety in the colors and patterns. Nice set of cabs. What are the three in the last picture, please?

I love 'em! I was paging down collecting my thoughts...then I realized I was going to say the same thing Don did...so I changed it...and then it was the same thing Robin posted! LOL I've been looking at a lot of different copper complex materials here lately. There is a real beauty in a LOT of that material!

Is that all? Why don't you quit being so lazy and get something done. What is your process? Do you use a cabbing machine, or do you shape and vibe-tumble to finish? That's a lot of cabs regardless, but if you're hand-cabbing them all through polish, it reflects an enormous amount of work. Is the purple group Tiffany Stone? I really like the colorful swirls in the last group. Wonderstone (rhyolite)?

Yes, the purple group is Nevada Tiffany stone. Like the Utah material it is a conglomeration of different minerals predominated by non-fluorescent fluorite.
And yes, the last cabs are Wonderstone rhyolite from Nevada.

Do you like the Titan better than the Genie? Bigger wheels certainly last a lot longer, and if you've got one of the older Genie's with the 1/4 hp motor, then I'm sure your Titan is much more powerful. I work with both 6" and 8" wheels. I really like using 8" hard wheels, and an 8" 220 or 280 grit resin wheel sure is nice as well. For the 600 through 3000 grit resin wheels, 6" wheels seem to work about as well for my purposes. With that said, if the Titan had only cost a little more than the Genie, that is what I would have gotten when I bought my Genie a little over a year ago.

With that said, if the Titan had only cost a little more than the Genie, that is what I would have gotten when I bought my Genie a little over a year ago. Overall I do like the Titan more, but hard to compare since the wheels on the Genie were more worn and the pump was going out. The Titan does have a much larger motor and the wheels were in pretty new condition. It does have the geysers, but two doubles, which is nice having the more water on the wheels especially when doing the opals. Also like having the two lights so i can angle them in different directions. Only drawback is that the pans and parts of the top are all ceramic on the Titan. So they are much heavier and harder to get in to place compared to the Genie. I am going to hold on to the Genie as well though as I have various extra wheels and belts for it. So I may fix it up with a water system since it is plastic and can be drilled, then use it for the softer stones like the copper-silver ore, Nevada Tiffany stone and opals. Then use the Titan for things like agates and jaspers.
