Hi all! Just wanted to post this for anyone thinking about rockhounding in northern Colorado. I was thankful to see a couple threads about this location already, I just thought I'd add some more photos to the archive for anybody searching. These are abundant in the Pawnee National Grasslands in gravels on the slopes of the buttes. The white veins are typical and match the prominent crust on the rough stones.

I rushed these to give as a christmas gift to family who lived near there, but of course I'm proud of them and I'd say they polished pretty easy!

Some of those clearer ones look like Montana moss agates and California coast oil agates.

Just wanted to add a better photo of the mossy agates from this location. I took a small scrap of the material and faceted it, it's a great little mossy piece!
