This first one I think is some form of granite..not sure    This is a slab from a piece of obsidian I bought in Nothing, AZ  and here is a see-through shot...  Pho |

Nice stuff Pho, isn't that obsidian amazing when you look through it, almost like smoke or something. That's a beautiful piece. That one in the first pic will look cool when it's polished. Nice pics, thanks!!

nice cuts- WOW you got that saw down quick! Love the Obsidian- I have a 5 Lb chunk of snowflake that I have been dying to cut into- It is in my rock cabnet- and the wife will not let me take anything else out of it! I plan on moving the cabnet to the basement- just to give her a bit more room- then that Snowflake might just have to be nibbled away at (it really is much too big for a display specimen- don't ya think?)

oops...sorry hun..that snowflake obsidian just fell out and broken into these nice even pieces....
Yeah...ya gotta love that obsidian..neat stuff..

How could you get obsidian if Nothing, is in Arizona? Funny how Nothing exists in Arizona, yet Arizona also claims the entire Earth (Globe) there too.
