Gaetz, Haven't tumbled any pieces as of yet. I'm excited to see how yours turn out. I know there are several characteristics of Geodes on that piece...the quartz cavity, the inside banding, and the outside white bubbly surface. I'm still undecided, because looking at the outer edges on one of those pics, almost makes me want to say Wood. See you in March Than! Steve

Cher, I'm very baffled...and very Upset that I didn't mark any of the material I sent. I just started putting stuff in. I know I sent only one Geode, and one ThunderEgg, lots of Wood, Jasper, and a few Agates. Sorry I didn't label the material. KICKING MYSELF IN THE AARSS! Steve There's one more in there that looks almost identical to this one, I'll slice that later today and see what it looks like inside. Got a picture of a thunderegg so I know what to look for in the box? Could you post a picture of your Sherry Topaz too Steve?

Cher, The ThunderEgg is the other half round one. It isn't quite a whole nodule...but when you slice it, it will be full of Moss! Probably green and reds...just from the indications that I saw on the outside. I'll post a few of my Topaz on a diffferent thread. I wished I didn't have dial-up...it seems to take forever to download pics. I'll try getting some on later. Also, when you do slice the thunderegg, post some pics of it. I'm curious to see how much moss will be in it. Thanks, Steve

Hard to believe something so beautiful hides behind that rough exterior! Keep on cuttin' girl!
