Wow, you'd never guess that rough rock would turn into that beauty just by looking at it. Beautiful polish on it. That's part of the intrigue of tumbling or cutting stones, though.

That's a great picture, Chuck. They look so different, but yet the before picture is so recognizable.

Way to show the results of a rock getting a facelift! It's so amazing to see the before and after pics like this! Fantastic job on the transformation...and as always great pics! Thanks for posting these!

That's a great picture, Chuck. They look so different, but yet the before picture is so recognizable. Thanks Rob. I'll hang onto that picture. It's a great example of why we do what we do. Chuck

Those uncut agates are some of my favorites to pull out of the tumbler. Its truly the ugly duckling turning into the swan. Personally a swan without knowledge of the duckling would be a lessened experience.

It's amazing to see how well that took a polish in the final picture. The before shows so many different levels of erosion in the bands that it is surprising to see a perfectly polished surface.

Great transformation Chuck! What looked like deep undercutting in the original stone, I was surprised that it wasn't worn down more in the polishing.

Chuck, did you use the rotary before the vibe polish? Great polish and excellent stone!

That's a really great ad for rock tumbling as Jugglerguy said. I think the unfinished one was gorgeous in it's own way, too. Better polished, though. Sweet job!

That is one very cool before and after photo!
And a nice reminder that I really need to pick some of this material up soon. Does anyone know who has some good quality specimens of these sweet Bahia Agates for sale?

Drummond Island Rocks how did you save the druzy area? Epoxy? We’ve got some with druzes coming up in the queue.

Fantastic, I've had a few bahias that looked like a basic, bland sandstone and turned into stunners, by far my favorite stone to tumble, always a surprise... 20 lbs coming my way soon
