I think you did a really good job with the oval. I never really like working on them, either, but I do like the bindings spread out on the bottom like you did.

I think I have yet to cab any petrified wood that didn't either have fracture issues or issues with pits! The cab looks great and it doesn't look like there's any flaws in it! I also like what you did with the wrap!

I did that mostly so I could show off the agatized part of the cab- and hopefully keep it from falling out!

You're right, a lot of wood has some issues but this one wasn't too bad This is the cab I posted a while back that looks like it has a crack in the bottom left but ended up having an almost 3D effect.
