While the wife is busy keeping the tumblers running, guess what I get to devote more time to? You guessed it...cabbing and jewelry. These pieces are all sold, but I thought I'd share them with you since I haven't posted a darn thing in a long time. This one is some very cool Black Basalt with Iron pyrite from Zimbabwe, and I've lost my contact there so I only have enough material for a few more of these. It is a great material to polish with the black and gold, but it IS messy I'm very pleased with the quality of the Lapidolite I got from Zimbabwe as well. A very deep dark Purple with a lot of sparkle A stone called Mtorolite, which I just can't seem to get the hang of pronouncing, and the spelling is correct. A beautiful creamy green. This is only about the size of a dime but it is a nice piece of Regency Plume Agate. I love this stuff. Thanks for looking!! -Banjo

Hey Banjo. Excellent work on all of them. Really nice stones and your wraps add a touch of class to them. Good to see you back posting also. Keep 'em coming dude. You still blowing some blues on your harp?

Very nice Banjo, the lapidolite looks like some of the charolite I just finished cabbing. I love the deep purple stones. Your wrapping is very nice, I am going to have to learn that art soon, I am beginning to have a surplus of naked cabs!!!

Banjo! WOW, my favorite is the regency plume! I love it!! All the others are fantastic too! How thick do you make your cabs and are they double sided?

Banjo: ;D The Plume is great, the wrapping is great. Do you get the idea that everyone thinks you do a fantastic job. If mrsbanjo is doing the tumbling and your doing the jewelry, I expect your production (and income from same) TO GO THROUGH THE ROOF. Congrats. The creme has always risen to the top. Pete

Thanks as always for the encouraging words. Cher- The 1/2 round is 24 guage gold filled, with 22 guage square gold filled. Tweetiepy-My cabs are usually about 3/16th's thick with 1/16 beezel, and not quite as much concern for the back of the cab unless it is transparent like a Plume Agate, but still polished a bit. I guess it is sort of like the back of a dresser. Kim- The wrap is as you described. Just to be different I left the sides untwisted and twisted the bottom of the wire on top.
