How do you guys make those funky shapes? Like how did you manage to get that curve in the morrisonite cab? Are you just doing it on the cabbing wheels? All I can make is your normal shapes. Curves always end up getting screwed up.

in curves are made by pressing the edge of the slab vertically into the wheel. The rest is grinding the other sides to line up and that is done by eye.

Curves always end up getting screwed up. Stardiamond was correct with how he was saying to do it. It took me a couple times to figure out the angle to work the curve once the initial perpendicular push into the wheel is done. I still struggle sometimes with it as I haven't been doing it long...but best I can describe it is, it's a slight diagonal run on the wheel to get the dome right on the inside curve...
