Someone I know is having trouble finding a replacement motor for their Graves Mark 4 faceting machine. They've tried calling Graves but apparently haven't reached anyone. Can anyone point them in a direction? The motor is 0-90 volt DC, 0-750 RPM, 3.5 amp

I think I recall Rockoonz having a work around Mine is a Mk1 and my solution is not particularly elegant. The Mk1 had a basic 2 speed AC motor originally, mine had been swapped for a 1725 RPM motor. I have replaced it with a servo motor for a sewing machine 0-4200 rpm, works good but the motor, VFD, and lever for a foot pedal take up all the space of the 24 frame motor it replaced and is not under the deck like the later DC motors. The VFD is nice, possible foot feed has real potential in other equipment as well, but probably not the answer for a mk4.
