This is kind fo an odd question but...my birthday is coming up and I'm thinking about asking for a vibratory rock tumbler. So my question is: has anyone regretted purchasing a vibrating tumbler or been less than happy with it? UPDATE: I am getting a Ray Tech Vibe 5 tumbler for my birthday! Can I use the same grit I use with my Lortone rotary tumbler?

So my question is: has anyone regretted purchasing a vibrating tumbler or been less than happy with it? I can’t imagine not being pleased with a vibe tumbler after using a rotary. The speed and quality of the finish you can get with a vibe is unbelievable. The vibe does stage 2 through polish in a week and used a tiny fraction of the grit. We have a Lot-O and are pleased with it. I’d be curious to try a UV-10 after reading many positive comments about those as well.

If you’ve ever gotten free beer, that’s the kind of feeling getting a vibrating tumbler gives you. No regrets

Denversue, make sure you size the tumbler for normal production load.

How much stage 2 are you planning on producing? If you are only running 3lb barrels a UV-18 or Uv-45 would be pointless. You would need to look at a mini UV or Loto
