So, my stepdaughter said something about going to The Rock Shed...and who am I to ignore "family time"! LOL

We buzzed up to Keystone this morning and I picked up the Mexican Moss and some Sagenite Agate there. Then we buzzed up to Hill City and stopped at the Dakota Rock Shop where I picked up a piece of Mexican Lace. I also snagged a couple little slabs of Goldstone...no pics yet, but I'm stoked to work that stuff!

I didn't realize how much Mexican material I got today until we were heading home! LOL - She dropped me off back at home around noon (yes she drove - she wanted to show off her new car! LOL), so I had time to get these slabbed.

Well...actually tomorrow we're having family over around noon...so it's going to cut into my cutting time! LOL - Today's "family time" was more appreciated by me! LOL

This weekend has become a juggling act. I've got Sunday and Monday that have decent weather - although the wind is going to be crazy on Monday. I figured I'd take a couple hours and slab some stuff today...and then I've got before and after "family time" tomorrow to hit the trim saw to cut the preforms. I'll be on the trim saw most of Monday - as long as I can dodge the wind. The material I got from you will be the first ones to get trimmed up!

*I realize I have a problem...I didn't "need" anything I got today...but I kept seeing a rock...and then another...and then another...and they all just ended up in my little blue shopping basket! LOL
