That is completely "otherworldly"! I’ve gone rounds with how to set this. Thought about putting it in a setting with a diamond band, but ultimately decided that it would take away from the stone. I dunno… some day I’ll figure it out.

The style of the band is what’s killing me. Whenever I figure it out, I’ll be sure to post.

I've only seen chalcedony from Turkey that intensely blue. I'd take 1 of those over 10 Ellensburg blue agate cabs, although I probably haven't seen the best that the Ellensburg material has to offer.

I’ve seen some incredibly nice Ellenburg blue, but I still prefer this stuff. From the stuff I have in rough, it’s a true blue to me. Where Ellenburg is a pink blue, if you know what I’m talking about. This stuff shines a vibrant blue even in the sun or under light. That pic is under crappy lighting too. Not gonna lie though, I’d still like more Ellensburg 😂

Incredible! Don't remember ever seeing a solid agate cab from that material. Truly beautiful! How big is the cab? Another question. Is Mojave Blue the agate from T-eggs? It's not the same as the rare Needles Blue Agate correct?

The color of that stone is exceptional. Bright, cornflower blue deliciousness! I would probably want to put that stone in some type of gallery wire. It needs something a little more special than plain bezel wire in my opinion. Here's a good article on blue chalcedony from Rock and Gem Magazine.

That looks awesome! I've never seen chalcedony with such a vivid blue. Great on that one.

I have some more in the rough that were left to me and it doesn’t appear to come from thundereggs. Instead of old crappy phone photos, when I get back home, I’ll try to get some pics of it side by side (rough and finished) so everyone can see. Even set it next to some Holley and ellensburg.

Your posts never cease to amaze me! That is one beautiful blue! I don’t think I’ve seen anything like it.
Thanks for sharing (this one and the rest of your posts).
