How does this thing work, who made this? How old is it? What supplies do I need to rock and roll with this? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks, Gina

Mini-Sonic MT-10ST compact gem and jewelry processor serial#0718 I’m trying to post a photo of the complete set, but can’t figure it out. Thanks again, G

Welcome form Virginia!
You can find instructions for posting pictures at the link just under the button for Cloudinary Upload. (You have to be in reply to see it.) If you follow the instructions exactly, you will be able to drag and drop pictures.
I don't tumble, but someone else can probably help you.

Its probably a great machine. One of the most versatile of the non-rotary community. Fill it mostly full of somewhat smooth rocks (preforms or beach cobble) and dump excess water, add a splash of dawn liquid, and two teaspoons of grit and let it cook. If it is not moving smoothly after an hour, add a squirt of water. But if you can see water in the bottom, you have too much. You can run it with the top off but expect it to need more water attention due to evaporation.

Hello! I use the smaller version of this tumbler, the MT-4. These tumblers are extremely versatile and were made by custom technology industries, geo sonics, and in modern times, Diamond Pacific. Mine is a custom technologies model probably from the 80's. They use no motor so yours should still work. Plug it in, and turn the knob/dial on. These are adjustable intensity. Make sure the hopper is secured via the rubber grommet. Full tumbling instructions can be found by googling "diamond pacific mt 10 instructions". Despite what the directions say, DON'T use coarse grit in this tumbler. Use a rotary with 60/90 first. You will love this tumbler! Hope that helps!
