We're here for the week to buy some tumbling rough. Any suggestions on some different hard to find rough besides agates or jasper?

I don't know how about hard to find stuff other than agate or jasper. I know I'd be looking for Red Falcom, dead camel, white buffalo and any Confetti Quartz , Los Choyas geodes and pretty much whatever else strikes my fancy

I couldn’t imagine going there, I spend hrs looking at pictures of rocks for sale. If I went, they’d never get rid of me.

If you walk in...close your eyes...spin around five times...and ALL the rough will be hard to find at that point! Just teasing! Don't forget to update us on what you picked up!

I realize this is late by about a year but what the hay. We drove straight to the 22nd Street Show. I walked into the tent, stretched out my arms and did a short hum. Talk about overload. We picked up some turquoise and lapis.I was a little disappointed that the only rough was in big chunks. The misses collects sphere's and we picked up a few. I got to meet Lapidary Dave who I follow on YouTube and he hooked me up with a couple of dealers. We had a fantastic week that ended with a star party that was put on by the University of Arizona as I had brought my telescope. The one thing that I bought that is rock related, was a nice Pallisite meteorite thanks to my Marilyn that let me spend the funds. It's worth another trip in the future even if it's a 2,230 mile drive.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it. At some point I hope to spend a day or 3 there this year, repeat last years extreme sensory overload.
