Here's another cab that Jonathan ( holajonathan) made that I finished wrapping the other night. I finally figured out what Tela was doing with the front two wires at the bail! LOL - I had seen a similar "twist" on the cradle wires on another wire wrap, so thought it would fit this cab very well. The bottom binding wires are actually centered, but they don't look like it in this picture. The perimeter of the cab beautifully follows the shape of the pattern, so the left side of the cab does protrude further than the right side.

Holy smokes that sucker is saweeet Thanks Lunk! It wasn't my original plan for the bail...but I was trying to conserve wire, and cut them about an inch shorter than I should have...so I couldn't do a weave bail! Lesson learned on that one!

Lesson learned on that one! I prefer the simple bail. It lets the rock do all the talking. I really like what you did with those top wires.

Well I'm glad your original plan didn't work out. I think your weave bails are great, but what you did here is even better for this cab.

How about: "quit squeezing me so tight." (A compliment to Jason). Or: "I have been waiting millions of years on a Mexican hillside for this very moment."

Everything happens for a reason, right!?! I really like how the bail turned out on this one as well. I prefer the simple bail. It lets the rock do all the talking. Just think of it as the wire giving that cab a big ol' hug! One of those real tight, creepy hugs, where you're not sure if it's affection or an attempt to cause organ damage.

There were a couple times I thought I was going to pass out WHILE wrapping this one...holding my breath hoping it would turn out! LOL Nicely done! I like how you are playing around with your designs. Thanks Brian! I felt a little more pressure to try some different things since they were for specifically for someone else. Most everything I've wrapped so far, I wrapped just to wrap it (with the exception of a few for family members). So, previously they just "were what the were" kinda thing. I'm happy with how pretty much all the ones for Jonathan turned out. Very well done, Jason! Love the lock wires and what you did. Thank you ma'am! I had a good teacher! Excellent, my friend! Maybe I need to rethink round wire... Thanks Mike! Are you not using much round wire? I use it almost all the time for the cradle wires. I pretty much only use square for the perimeter wire (whatever it's called! LOL).
