I believe it is Lizardstone form Arizona. Typically a matte shine, but I was able to get a decent shine in the tumbler, so if you are cabbing you should do okay.

I have a slab that I thought looked similar to the one brybry posted, but when I Google Lizardstone, none of the examples shown look like my slab. Not saying brybry's isn't...just saying I don't think mine is. It was worth a shot. I have a couple slabs I need to post for potential IDs... |

I'll post a pic later today in the "what is this" forum. I have two slabs that I need to find out what they are. One is really weird...when I was working it, it felt like it was covered in dish soap the whole time. Makes me think it has an alkaline property to it... |
