I went to my mom's house because her cat had a batch of kittens. When I got there, I seen the ugliest, most unhealthy cats that I have ever seen. Si I grabbed a white one and took it home. We then noticed that it was pooping as fast as it was eating. So we kept putting dry food down for it after that to see if that would stop this. But the cat was too far gone at this point. The next morning when we woke up, it was just about dead, so we comforted it as best as we could until it dies. After that, I went back to my mom's house fopr the other kitten (all the other ones had died along with a few older ones). The same thing was happening to that. So I took a poop sample to the vet to ahve it examined thinking it had worms. That was clean. The vet then asked me what the cat was eating. So I told him that my mom was feeding him canned cat meat. He said that this is the worst thing you can feed a cat or any animal. He said the only thing we could tfry to do is find some dry food that would slow this process of him dehydrating down to a minimum until it could find enough strength to recover itself. After goping through numerous bags of dry cat food, we came upon Purina kitten chow. This cat ate it real good. 3 days later, he got his health back, the dehydratiopn stopped, and he started putting on weight again. At that point, I decided to not give him back to my mom, and contacted her to try and get her top stop feeding her cats canned meat. Byut she refused, and to this day, all her cats, all different ones now since then are still as unhealthy, and looking very scraggly. Even their dogs are having this problem, and looking pretty bad. So I was left with no choice but to call animal control, and show them pictures of her animalsd. Unfortunately, they sdaid they are not animal police, and cannot do anything about it unless they become a danger to someone. I contacted numerous organizations, but no one can do anything due to it b eing out of their district. So we sdtay away from there now, and continue to send the sheriff department updated pics of her animals, and hope someday they take action on this. In the meantime, furrball is spoiled rotten, and loves to drink sun tea.

tmorris when i lived in jamaica i got a cat from the shelter that had kittens. cat food is not something they sell over there so we had to buy canned mackeral and we were giving them milk. they were shooting poop all over the place so i called my vet back in the states and he said it was the milk. we quit giving the milk and all was well.
your mother would beat you if she knew you were calling people on her lol. but i would do the same thing. don't give up, keep telling people and you will eventually get the right one.
i had called everyone i knew to call once about a horse that i knew was being abused and was being sold and passed from hand to hand so i was having a hard time keeping up with where the horse even was. a man came into our store and began talking about his horse that he wanted to sell. i recognized the horses name and asked if i could come see him. he said he wanted $400 for the horse so i made sure i had that in my pocket when i went. i took a really knowledgable horseman with me to tell me what he thought. he told me the horse was crazy and there was no hope from all the abuse. he warned me not to buy him. the horse was so afraid as i approached and all you could see was the whites of his eyes. i whispered to him that it was all over and he would never be mistreated again, paid my $400 and transported him to georgia with hopes that my sister could bring him around. in 3 weeks he was a completely different horse. i sold him for $1000 and children now learn to ride on him and he dances to music in shows. never give up hope.

i never give up. And she does know tha ti do call the local authorities all the time and other agencies. That is why I am banned from seeing her and the rest of the family throughout the rest of this state again. Biut I really dont care. I would do it again just to save the life of an innocent animal. I have a new family now, and her side of the family. Bad as I had to say this, But i gave up on my side opf the gfamily a long time ago, and never see any of them again. But saving a life is well worth ignoring those that is taking lives. If I was able to go out there, I would steal some more of their animals just to bring them back to health again. But they are armed out there with the other relatyives. So if I went, I amy not make it back, so i stay away. It is sas losing a family, but I have gained 2, so that makesd me a very rich person.

Furrball is most certainly a very, very lucky cat!!!

HE IS A MEMBER OF OUR FAMILY FOR OVER 5 YEARS NOW. AND HE LETS EVERYONE KNOW WHO THE BOSS IS. HE EVEN HAS HIS OWN TEA TIME. THE DARN CAT LIKES HIS SUN TEA, AND HAS A VERY SPECIAL PLACE TO SIT WHILE DRINKING IT.
