It's been a long time since I've had the ability to cut cabs. My wife managed to rescue me from the edge of the cliff and managed to solve the issue of getting water to the wheels, so I am finally able to cut stone again. Far from perfect, but if I recall, this particular Sodalite didn't ever really take on a super high polish. Still will hit it with C-ox when I have a chance, but I'm pretty sure I haven't forgotten the process at least. Size is 1.25" on the longest measurement. Edit: hummingbirdstones : if you could arrange for this picture to make it's way to a very special little old lady, I'd like her to know that the machines she sold to me are finally being used.

Hey, welcome back. I think your cab looks fine. I guess it's like riding a bike.

Hey, welcome back. I think your cab looks fine. I guess it's like riding a bike. Much of it seems that way. I'm pretty sure there is faint muscle memory there, so yes, a bit like a bike. And if I need practice, I probably have around 40lbs of Obsidian (gotta slab a bunch of it first though). If only it was opal.

I will print it out to give to her. I have to go over there tomorrow morning.

Glad to see you got that equipment going. I know that's a good feeling.
