Not sure, a friend gave me a little piece, unknown origin, that he thought might be some kind of sheen obsidian. You can make out layers in it. It does change color a bit in different light but I wasn't able to make it really flash. The slab he gave me was ~ 1/2" thick so it's a thick cab and might have been more flashy if i'd ground it down a little more. I also didn't think to polish the backs before cabbing and just gave this a half-assed hand polish on the flat side, but even that seemed to noticeably improve the color change. I have a couple more cabs of this that i'll do the backs properly on a lap and maybe they'll be slightly flashier. Thanks for the feedback Jason
