Nice photography, stones, and cabs! Those cabochons look absolutely amazing. They look pretty much perfect girdle, shape, and polish wise. I need to work on honing my skills too!

Those cabs look really good! And the pics are really good too!
That material...is off the freakin' charts! Truly, that is some of the best material "I've" seen come out of the Clear Creek area! Amazing!!

Killer shine and a very showy example of the type.

Thanks, I appreciate all the encouraging comments. I've really learned a lot here in the past couple of weeks. I've tried forming a few cabs on my own before coming here but I didn't even know about the girdle until I read about it here. After reading a lot here I went back to the grinder. I saw a huge improvement grinding last week just with better light. I didn't realize how much I couldn't see until I started seeing it. I'm still not very happy with the pics but they're definitely better than the last ones. I'm going to work on that more this week. Maybe even not use the cell phone with cracks across the lens!

I think your pictures look pretty good. Way better than mine! Very nice cabs and that Plasma Agate is killer.

You did justice to some beautiful material. Your pictures aren't too bad either.

Those are very nice. I'm glad you've got some great material to practice and learn with, although from the looks of things this aren't your first cabs. I like the elongated oval shape as well. Keep 'em coming.
