What is the reputation of Pepe Tools. Looks like they are having a good sale on now. Is it worth it? Thanks.

I have heard a lot of positive, but have not personally been their customer, other than saw blades, sandpaper, and metal almost all my silver tools are pre owned.

I've always heard good things. They have a good reputation. I have their disc cutter and I am very happy with it.

Pepe Tools is a mid-range price tool company. I have never heard anyone compiain about any of their tools. I personally don't own any, so I can't say from personal experience.

I would be cautious about any "first-generation" tools in categories that they may not have prior offerings.
I bought their first metal shear and, while it works for me, it has some accuracy issues. The Seattle jeweler with whom I had taken 1:1 training had purchased their first ring-bender (or first beefy one). He didn't want it so I bought it at a discount. I discovered that I was unable to bend thick bands without some serious marking in the metal, even when taking steps to try to avoid that. I eventually passed it on to a metalsmith friend and warned her that it makes a much better doorstop.
