Is bookmarks one word? This is what the wife did last night, she plans on selling them at a big craft show on Dec. 10th. I hope they do well. Sorry the pic. didn't turn out so good, but you should get the idea.

Those are beautiful, I think they will do great. That is a very clever idea, what type of glue did she use to hold the pendants on the rock? Tami P.S. yes bookmark is one word.

Wow those are really neat. My sister in law makes some similar but just uses wire and beads. I think she uses like 16 gauge wire so it's a little heavier for the part that goes through the book. She curls the bottom end and makes a loop on the top to adds beads with a lighter wire. Tell your wife she did an awesome job. How are the rocks attached? Are they just glued to the little pendants or did you drill them and put a ring in or ?? Need a real close up of that part.

Wife is thinking $7 each or 2 for $13, is that to much to ask?

I don't think so, those are way cool. If they don't sell at that, mark them "On Sale" that always attracts people. Make it $6.99 and $12.99 ... I know it's stupid but it's proven. Did your wife get the little pendants on eBay too?

if they don't sell at the craft show gaetz, it is no reflection on the bookmarks as they are great. your wife should take a few to a local bookstore and see if they will sell them on commission or buy several outright. if you can't find one that will cooperate, let me know as my mom has a bookstore and people are looking for christmas gifts . kim

pricing- always follow the 95 or 99 rule- In consumers eyes (and this is proven time and time again) $7.99 is the same as $7.00- and in some cases people see it as less (especially with numbers ending in zero- $10.99 is veiwed as cheaper than $10 and $11.99 is veiwed cheaper than both!) It's a strange perception we all have- I used to work in a store and when we would raise a price from say $5.99 to $6.69 people would freak about the price increase- Raise that same $5.99 to $6.99 and they would compliment you on LOWERING prices!

those are great and the price is absolutely spot on. I looked at them and without a word of a lie thought "hey, I'd pay 5-6 bucks a piece."...good work!

Earthdog, You're wife is full of Brilliant Ideas! I need to make something like this...Great gift ideas! You need to keep your wife around...she comes up with some great ideas. If I recall....didn't she come up with a copper/ rock arranged garden hanging. I really like those, and the price is right. Steve
