I buy on Etsy and sell on Etsy and got messages from them on both. Today, I got an email titled 'Just for You' and contained 6 curated picks. 5 of them were my listings. I guess I would like my own work.

I worked in computer systems for over 40 years and a lot of the work was writing queries against databases.
This query looked at shops that I had bought from. I buy a lot of from altamontbead and so the email shows items the shop has for sale similar to what I have bought in the past. It also includes stuff like tableware that I have no interest in. I can forgive the shotgun approach and I get similar emails from ebay. What I can't forgive is that the query doesn't exclude items from my shop. It isn't hard to link my buying email address from the email address assigned to my shop.
