Well went to the local shop and filled a small flat rate box like a jig saw puzzle . Put it on the scale, just shy of 6 pounds. Man that materia is heavy. Now the bad news, at 8 dollars a pound that’s 42 dollars plus shipping. How many boxes you want?

Finally got around to breaking all this banded material up. Big thanks to catmandewe and all the others who did some looking for me, I appreciate it.
He also threw in a nice piece of banded pet wood, and some bloodstone
Turns out the local shop that just reopened for the year is now carrying the same, so I should be set for the foreseeable future    |

I am looking for BIF also! I ordered some from Kingsley North but I really want the black and silver. I saw some tumbled by Michigan Rocks and fell in love with it! If anyone has some or has access to it let me know. Thanks!

ashley I ran a quick two day batch to see how quickly it broke down and then my belt broke. So for now I'm waiting on my other 33b to come from summer santa and I'll get tumbling again. Hopefully in a month or so. The half with the crystal is much different. Still pretty, but it doesn't want to tumble at all. Need to figure out what to do with it...

This material is VERY common all over minnesota and its gorgeous tumbled. Nate and I have some but it's buried under snow right now. If you can wait a few months we can get it out. Or toiv0 do you have any? Do you know where to find it? I knew of a spot many years ago, but that was decades ago and it no longer seems to be where I thought it was. There were thousands of tons in a huge pile. |
