Well I got a Lot-O-Tumbler and I just have to say because of this board it works Great!
It's relatively quiet compared to my other tumblers but at first it wasn't working as well as others in videos on YouTube, yeah I watched many of the Michigan Rocks video's. Doing a lot of reading here I found the solution, moving the dowel closer to the frame. OMG what a difference, the rocks go screaming by now.
There is tons of great information here and I would like to say thank you to all that contribute!
Oh and if you need to move the dowel on new Lot-O's they are putting brads through the dowel to secure it to the base, a sharp putty knife and rubber mallet will cut it.
Thanks again!

I had to do the same thing. It’s a great little machine when you get it dialed in. Good luck!

Thanks Ken - I don't use mine a whole lot and I 'think' it's working OK but now I am going to move the dowel just to see what I've been missing BTW, If I didn't say it earlier, welcome to the forum!

Hey Ken! Good to hear you got it dialed in...and that was really awesome to acknowledge the board as a source for solutions!

I didn't see this post before I made mine. Funny that we both posted about the same thing just a few hours apart. Yeah, I noticed this too. Every post I had read on the topic said it was just hot glue so was a little confused why I couldn't move the dowel after removing all the glue. I ended up slightly splitting the dowel on one side before I realized it.
