HankRocks , That reminds me of Malibu Canyon. When it rains heavily, driving the winding little road that connects Malibu, CA with the 101 Freeway is a dangerous deal. I recall attending a wedding in Malibu and while driving back toward the east during a driving rain I was dodging falling boulders for half the way. They weren't as big as the one you posted but some were maybe half as big. Out of town passengers in my car were traumatized. I was so busy dodging rocks I didn't have time to be scared until I reached the top.

They weren't falling when we drove thru, but still a little unsettling. Even a baseball size rock would ruin your day!!
