I have this vision. Intarsia bordered with mitered pet wood! With that much available, piece selection could be fantastic! Pieces could be matched by grain, colour, and pattern. Wow! Now, where would one store it? Should it be stored to season, should it be kept hidden, should it be just kept and admired? I can imagine, if one can live long enough, a complete living room with pet wood panels! Never mind tile, or wainscotting, pet wood panels. The weight might be a factor, so beams for wall studs! Beams....

If someone gets that stuff for around the starting price, it's a steal!! (if it's really 45,000 pounds)

Gettin it's the fun part, here's how you get it!!!!! Anybody remember this picture from Conrock (you still rock, btw)?? Here's the link to the thread for those interested... forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/index.cgi?board=Pictures&action=display&thread=1114035616We load that bad boy up w/ gas, put her on I-80 Eastbound, lock in the cruise control and 14 hours later you're up to your sweet "arse" in an outdoor museum filled w/ petrified wood. You fill the tumbler to the top, start 'er rolling and by the time you're back in Salt Lake you're ready for 120!!! Gaetz

That's quite an auction. Let's see, I have 2-6lb tumblers, so if I could process each batch from rough to polish in 2 months, I could tumble that entire pile by the year 2630.
For the right buyer, like a petwood dealer, I can see that the auction would be quite a deal.

Amazing, totally amazing. You'd need a lot of land to store all of that stuff.
